We are deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Rays of Sunshine's incredible and inspirational wish ambassador, Joe. 

Joe was an amazing ambassador for Rays of Sunshine, raising £30,000 for the charity by taking on personal challenges, like his #100milesfor1000smiles static bike ride during lockdown and as a part of  #TeamKilimanjaro as well as helping raise awareness of the charity by sharing his story on the #Sunshinesessions podcasts.

Rays of Sunshine will always be very proud and humbled to have been able to grant his greatest wish and have Joe as a part of the Rays of Sunshine family. The funds he raised will ensure his legacy will shine on brightly, enabling us to continue to create precious memories for other seriously ill children and for that, Rays of Sunshine will forever be grateful to Joe.

Joseph does not wish to have flowers at his funeral on 22nd April. He would prefer for people to make a donation to Rays of Sunshine. This will enable more children and young people to benefit from wishes, in the same way he did.
