Thank you for your support! After running marathons on 3 continents and cycling the LondonSurrey 100 miles last year, I thought I would try in 2014 the Ironman 70.3, 1.2 mile swim / 56 mile bike / 13.1 mile run.

This is a bit crazy but much easier than the volunteers and lifesavers at RNLI who rescue 22 people at sea every day, 24 hour a day. 200 beaches in UK and Ireland are patrolled by RNLI lifeguards. Founded in 1824, they also provide international lifesaving and drowning prevention training from Senegal to Bangladesh.

Born in La Rochelle, I have always loved the sea and respect organisation such as RNLI whose boat stations mean so much to harbour communities and their visitors.
