The Rose Road Association is a great charity supporting young people with profound and complex needs and their special families. 

We are one of those families. Gabby was born with Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus which has meant a life of surgery that, at times, has been life saving. 

The Rose Road Association has given Gabby some independence from  the family and given her two siblings and parents some respite from the caring role. Rose Road has helped us cope and enabled us to carry on caring in the way we want to. 

As Gabby's sister, there have been times which have been extremely challenging. There are so many things we are unable to do together due to Gabby's disabilities and this is an opportunity to do something fun, exciting and a bit scary together !!!
