The Spirit of Normandy Trust was set up to perpetuate the memory of those who fought to preserve freedom in 1944. I came on board with the charity as a trustee in 2016 to continue to support my grandfather's (General Peter Martin CBE) work in supporting the veterans. 

The trust provides 

- Welfare support for remaining veterans and their dependants, in liaison with SSAFA.
- Education for children, and appreciation of the general public, in the events leading up to the Normandy Landings and the historical significance of WW2.
