Story
My name is Mason Smith, I have decided to do my Eagle Scout project for an organization called “Shelter to Soldier”. Shelter to Soldier is all about saving dogs and training them as service dogs for soldiers returning with PTSD and other traumatic service injuries. Doing this is helping the soldiers to get back to normal life and saving dogs. Our goal is to raise $2,000 by “Giving Tuesday” Dec 1st. I can’t think of anything better than rescue dogs, returned soldiers, and an American flag welcoming them to this facility. Please donate to help Shelter to Soldier save 2 lives at a time and please share this with a friend. Thank you.
About Shelter to Soldier:
Shelter to Soldier is a 501c3 non-profit organization that rescues dogs from an otherwise uncertain future in local shelters and trains them to become psychiatric service dogs for post-9/11 combat veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and other injuries associated with traumatic combat experiences. The sponsored service dog will serve the critical role of psychological and in cases where needed, physical assistance for the soldier. Saving Lives, Two At A Time, the organization helps save a dog from a rescue and helps save a veteran from the perils of mental injury associated with traumatic combat experiences. Join me as I raise awareness for veterans and homeless dogs in need and raise funds to help more service dog teams through the program.
Be sure and watch the Shelter to Solider video.
Any extra funds over the $2,000 will go to Shelter to Soldier for other projects.
