Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Martin Egan was a well liked, and well respected driver at Lawrence Hill depot, and had been for 40 years. Unfortunately, Martin died at Southmead Hospital on Saturday 28th March after contracting coronavirus whilst on annual leave.

Update (16/04/2020)....unfortunately we at Lawrence Hill Depot have lost a 2nd colleague to coronavirus. Mr Hussen Mudei had been with us in a part time role since 2017. Hussen was admitted to hospital with breathing difficulties made worse by his underlying medical issues, but sadly passed away shortly after.

So we dedicate this money raised to Martin Egan and Hussen Mudei.

Our NHS staff are heroes - especially now with this pandemic sweeping our country. I thought in memory of Martin and Hussen, it would be a good idea to do a charity fundraiser to raise money for the Southmead Hospital NHS Charity.

So, with Ian Coyle's permission and support, we are doing 'GOING FOR COYLE'!! (Ian Coyle incidentally is our Operations Manager for Lawrence Hill and Hengrove depots, and is known for his bald head!!)
