I've been in a hospital room and witnessed someone I love die from cancer. I have friends who have been affected by the disease and, like many, I've been saddened when public figures I've admired, have been taken by it. 

It has many names and forms, but it is one disease: Cancer.

There have been great advances in research, treatment and prevention but more is needed and it all costs money.
