Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
@FionaJMackenzie died on Thursday 9th June 2011.
If it's anything, this page might be a tribute to the power of social networking. Many of you didn't 'know' Fi - you'd never met her, or been to school with her, or spent a convivial evening in her house.
But you knew her, nevertheless. She had a presence online, on Twitter and Facebook; a warm, funny, friendly, spirited woman with many virtual 'friends'. A kind woman, who gave of her own talents as a writer to raise money for the poorly children in Great Ormond Street, although she was, as it turned out, really poorly herself.
Many of us - Fiona's online friends - can't think of a better way to remember her than to raise money for the cause she loved best. So here it is.
