Story
In December 2013 Calum Lambert was diagnosed with very Severe Aplastic Anemia age 3. Aplastic Anemia is a disease where the bone marrow is unable to produce enough platelets, red and white blood cells, this is a life threatening disease.
Calum as a 3 year old has had to endure more than any person should have to in their lifetime but he has been very brave and has always had that big smile on his face throughout all his blood / platelet transfusions, operations, chemo and all important bone marrow transplant in April 2014.
Calum and his parents Diane & Derek want to say a huge thank you to Anthony Nolan for helping to find Calum's bone marrow donor and real life superhero.
This page has been set up to help promote the Hero Day on 21 November 2014 which all Calum's friends will be taking part in at local nurseries / schools.
Help us to help Calum and his parents say a thank you to Anthony Nolan and raise awareness of Aplastic Anemia.
