However we love the fact that through our pounding of the pavements of Pollokshields - and your generosity - children around the world can be released from poverty!

Tearfund's work through local church partners, gives communities, parents and children, the chance to use their own resources to make a difference to their lives. Tearfund tackles some of the big issues around poverty - water and sanitation, food security, HIV/Aids, disasters - and seeks to ensure that people are empowered and mobilised to help themselves.
