The Woodland Trust is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity who creates, protects and cares for woodland across the UK. We are working hard to create a UK rich in native woods and trees, for people and wildlife. But we can't do this alone. We can't achieve our vision without you.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At the end of last year my family lost my younger cousin  Liam. A fine young man with so much still ahead of him. Liam had graduated in 2009 in Inverness with a BSc with distinction in sustainable forest management with forestry conservation.

he also won the best student award from the Institute of Chartered Foresters (ICF). And the Scottish woodlands prize on behalf of Scottish Woodland LTD.

As children I have so many memories of us being at Sherwood Forest and woods in the lake districts, where we all happily ran around playing surrounded by giant trees.

So I would like to be able to dedicate a part of woodland in memory of liam. A place where his family and friends can visit and feel close to  something that was so important and special to Liam.

Trees are our future. Without them all of us would not be free to breath and live!!!

please support me on this challenge with Liams mum Elizabeth MacDonald,  which will take place  at some point during June depending on weather.

thank you

Fiona McKee
