Now that I have reached my half century, I am running the Lincoln Half Marathon on Sunday  2nd October in memory of my beautiful, brave and adorable sister, Carolanne Clark. It is nearly a year since we have lost her and she is missed every second of every day.  💖

I have decided to donate any fundraising money to cancer research because of its research work into the links between cancer and family genetics. 

Those of you who know me well will know that this time 2 years ago, I was undergoing my own personal battle with cancer. I am so pleased that I am fit, healthy and well enough to be able to undertake this challenge. The last time I ran a half marathon was 25 years ago in Fleet and I swore never again! 🙄🙄

So if you can spare a few quid it would be much appreciated and knowing that I am running in memory of such a special person and raising money for a worthy cause will inspire me when I hit Yarborough hill on the 10th mile.
