Fiona Hunter and Leah Pullen have joined forces to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and to help ensure Cancer does not become the forgotten "C" during the Coronavirus pandemic. Macmillan need your help more than ever before to be there for people living with cancer.

We began open water swimming during Summer 2020, in fact we'd only just mastered the front crawl earlier that year! We're both members of Cleethorpes Tri Club and enjoy running, biking and swimming.
 
Together, we aim to complete the English Channel Virtual Challenge which will see us cover 21 miles (34 km) or 36,960 yards for all you swimmers out there! As swimming pools are currently closed due to government restrictions, we will be swimming over the next few months in cold water conditions at our local seaside resort of Cleethorpes. Our swims will be short and tough, dictated by the tides, weather and most importantly safety, but together we aim to share the miles until we reach the magic figure of 21..... 21 miles for 2021!

We appreciate that times are tough at present both emotionally and financially, so if you are able to donate, whatever the amount, it would be greatly appreciated and make a huge difference to those people who are having the biggest fight of their lives.
