Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Update: Unfortunately because of a common running injury called illiotibial band syndrome I am unable to take part in the MK Marathon this year. But all is not lost! My lovely husband's lovely brother Russell is stepping into the breach and running for me, and still raising money for Diabetes UK, hurrah! What a nice boy. And instead of running I will be doing a 5 hour spinathon at the gym, details to follow.
Back in January my old friend Jules died unexpectedly in his sleep at the tender age of 36. He had been diagnosed with diabetes in his early 20s and it seems his untimely death was related to it. He was an incredibly popular bloke and a gaping hole has been left in so many people's lives, especially those of his lovely family. As, in a fit of pure lunacy, I have signed up to run the Milton Keynes marathon in April 2012 I may as well make it worthwhile and raise money for Diabetes UK, and in Jules' memory. I guarantee he would find it HILARIOUS.
