Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service will be hosting a special event for ladies on the 25th April 2010 - A Ladies Driving Challenge!

This is an opportunity for ladies over 17 years, with a full driving licence, to drive a large range of vehicles in a safe and fun environment. Ever wanted to drive a fire engine? Or a double decker bus, an articulated lorry, police car, ambulance, army truck and maybe even a tank as well as loads of other vehicles both large and small? Well, now is your chance!

The Fire Fighters Charity is such a worthy cause. How many people would be willing to go into a burning building to save lives?? Not many...but these men and women risk their lives in so many different ways to help people that its about time people did something to help them! So please donate what you can to support the heros in the fire service.

"The Fire Fighters Charity is here for fire fighters during their times of need. The Charity offers vital support services across the UK for all fire fighters, assisting in excess of 17,500 individuals every year"
