Hi All you fantastic people - you must be pretty fantastic to have bothered checking out this page in the first place.

This is aimed mostly at the people with horses - but please feel free to part with some money just out of pity for me :)))

As you may...or may not know, I started running last March and got bitten quite badly by the bug. I ended up running 3 Marathons last year, including New York.

I have decided to up the anti this year and want to get as many Marathons under my belt as I can and raise as much money as I can in the process.

I already have a place for London (see my other page) but thought I'd challenge myself a bit more by running the Brighton Marathon the week before!!!!!!!!!!!! (I'll let you know after London, how much of a 'good idea' that was!)

See, I might have sausage legs, but there is stamina in them!

My chosen charity for Brighton is the World Horse Welfare.

They do amazing things to help horsese and are in constant need of support from sensible people like you....and idiots like me.

Think of all the hours of fun, companionship and love your horse offers you - this is your chance to retun the favour and help to support the ones in need of some TLC.

If I could ask you to just part with a fiver, it would all go towards building up a good sized donation that could really make a difference to the life of a horse in need of help.

Think of what you would spend on a glass of wine or a packet of fags, (which are bad for you anyway, so I'm doing you a favour), and let me put the money to better use for you ;)

26.2 miles is a bloody long way, and when I'm knackered, aching and have reached the point where I'm swearing at myself for embarking on yet another, 'seemed like a good idea at the time' mission of madness - I will be kept upright at least, by knowing that it's helping to acheive good things.
