After 2 years of watching me run the BUPA 10k Mum has decided to give this "fitness lark" a go.  So we are walking the Adidas Women's 5k - well you can't expect too much too soon You never know it could be the start of something, maybe a gallop round the marathon next year ;-)

We recently visited Penny Brohn Cancer Care and were so impressed with the new site - such a dramatic change from the site we visited when Mum was so very sick.  I know this is the most amazing place for those who have been diagnosed with cancer and just wish that more people were aware of its existence. 

Without our visit back in 2003 I really don't think Mum would be here today and she wouldn't not have had the chance to meet her beloved grandson, Frankie, born earlier this Summer.
