The Ayrshire Hospice is an incredibly special place that relies nearly exclusively on charitable donations to fund it's work supporting the terminally ill and dying.  It's caring environment and compassionate staff have helped my family through the devastating loss of my Uncle Will, and most recently my Aunt Marjorie.

So what am I doing? Well, a few months ago, my friend Stobes said to me he was going to do the Great Scottish Swim and I thought he might need some company!  And a 2 mile swim, in a cold Scottish loch when the weather may be typically Scottish is going to be no easy feat.  I hate the cold!
