Story

My friend Ginny has asked people to get involved in raising money for St Luke's Hospice who cared for her husband Russ, before he sadly passed away last year. He would have been 38 years old this month so I will be running 38 miles during January to support this cause. This will be quite a challenge for me as I am not a runner! So any donations will be very much appreciated and will keep me going. Thank you.

Edit: Leo will now be joining me and doing 38 miles on his bike!

For more than 35 years we have been providing specialist end of life care and support to people from across Plymouth, South West Devon and East Cornwall, whether in the home, hospital or at our specialist unit at Turnchapel. We care for people with serious illnesses such as cancer, motor neurone disease, heart failure, multiple sclerosis and chronic lung disease, treating any adult over the age of 18. We do all we can to involve patients in decisions about their care, to maintain privacy and dignity in providing that care and to respect patients individual rights and religious and cultural beliefs. Our approach to care is holistic, centred on the needs of the individual patient.
