Story
Hen Harriers are beautiful birds. They are also known as Sky Dancers because of their aerobatic sky dances; one of the most awesome spectacles in nature. They breed on our moorlands but last year there were only 4 breeding pairs left in England, when there should be about 300. They are being illegally shot, trapped and poisoned.
I made a 6ft Hen Harrier model called Harry to help raise awareness about Hen Harriers and you can follow Harry's journey on my blog WildeAboutBirds.blogspot.co.uk
The saddest thing I think about the decline of our Hen Harriers is that it shows us the type of people we have become where money and things mean more to us than our shared natural home.
I will be selling "Wishing You A Harry Christmas" cards to help raise money.
Please help save our Hen Harriers and keep them dancing in our skies.
