Story

Darren and Paul will be riding from Horsham to Bridgnorth on the 27 June through to 1 July in memory of their dads, who they both lost to cancer.

The route runs from Horsham up to Reading then along the Kennet and Avon Canal to Bristol before roughly folowing the Severn up to Bridgnorth. The majority of the route will be off-road, and after extensive traing (a few sunday morning rides!) the pair expect this will be the first step before taking part in next years Tour de France or perhaps a round the world ride (or maybe not, it depends how bad the chaffing is!)

You can follow our progress on twitter @Beamed7332 for witty updates and perhaps even a few comical pictures of the pair along the way.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now.
