Story
I've completed the trek and lived to tell the tale.
The 38 of us took about 3.5 hours to finish walking through the woods of Epping Forest. It was very dark but we had our guides, light (sky and torch) and friends to help us through. The atmosphere was great, people lovely and we spotted a deer but no Jack (Hangman's Hill). Definitely a worthwhile experience!
Current group total: £5188.90!!!! Thank you all for your donations. :)

What am I doing?
I have decided to take up the challenge of walking through the wild woods of Epping Forest (Sat 16 Nov '13). The walk is 12km long (5 hours) and is after sunset in the dark. (But don't worry I'll be with the organisers and other trekkers).
Why am I doing this?
I am raising money for Islamic Help who are supplying food and water (also books etc) to children who struggling to survive the humanitarian crisis in Syria. Please visit their website for more details.

With the knowledge of the work Islamic Help are doing in trying to bring some ray of light into the lives of these Syrian children, I am determined to get through this challenge. I hope to come out on the other side feeling a little fitter, braver and happier (no doubt also exhausted and colder).
Please sponsor me. Even a penny of your support means a lot to me. Peace and thank you.
Feza ;)
