Story

If you have never heard a brass band before this is a one off opportunity - don't miss out!

Around 60 musicians will be joining together on the 17th February 2013 to raise money for Cancer Research UK in a one off show stopping - "Festival of Brass".  The concert will feature world famous Euphonium player DAVID CHILDS, the internationally renowned "BONES APART", the unusual brass ensemble "TUBE" and two entertainment winning brass bands, Hadstock and Haverhill Silver.

The concert will be held in Cambridge's famous West Road Concert Hall and the Festival will also include an afternoon brass workshop for beginner and intermediate brass players.

From the 1st November tickets will be available from Cambridge Arts Theatre Box Office: 01223 503333.

Ticket prices of £12 (adults), £9 (OAPS) and £6 (16 and under) include the opportunity to join with the stars in the afternoon workshop.

To attend the workshop players should buy a concert ticket and email lisajwright21+CRUK@gmail.com with their name and the brass instrument that they play. (Workshop places are limited and it will be first come first served).

All of the starring musicians are donating their time for free and through company sponsorship of the venue ALL proceeds raised from tickets bought will go to Cancer Research UK!

Any questions please email lisajwright21+CRUK@gmail.com
