Story
On Tuesday 13th September I will be cycling 103 miles as part of the Barton Wheelmore Cycle Relay, a fundraising event to mark Barton Willmore's 75th anniversary and connect each of our 10 offices from Cardiff to Edinburgh (for more info go to www.bartonwheelmore.co.uk).
I will be taking part in the Solihull to Manchester leg, which is one of the longer legs at 103 miles and also involves a few hills! This is by far the furthest I will have ever cycled, and I'm told the estimated ride time is 11-12 hours, which obviously is a very long time on a bike saddle... oouch! So if you fancy it, please dig deep (or shallow, it all counts) to help raise some money for a fantastic cause:
Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres is a charity that works to create a network of cancer caring centres across the UK offering high-quality community-based cancer support. Maggie's unique model of psychological support transforms the way that people live with cancer. We want everyone in the UK who needs it to have access to this support.
Thanks very much in advance!!
Cheers
Fergus
