Domestic abuse levels spike at Christmas. Together, we can prevent this from being a time of year that brings fear instead of joy. Let's break the cycle of abuse.
Story
Domestic violence levels spike at Christmas. Financial pressures, alcohol, and being indoors puts extra strain on abusive relationships.
I'm supporting The Freedom Project as they work to break this cycle of abuse.
Your donation will help them to provide: a helpline; group sessions for adults, children and perpetrators; and much-needed 1-1 counselling.
The Freedom Project is the only organisation offering free, long-term, community-based support in West Cumbria as part of their mission to help stop domestic abuse.
