Story
Hi all,
I have made a promise to myself since the time of the accident back in 2013 that every year I would take up a challenge and raise money for a cause. Back then I thought that my challenge would always be bike related but unfortunately, due to a nerve injury (bike related), this year it will not be possible.
Inspired by a colleague at work, I decided that the Trek from London to Brighton was an excellent challenge to take on this year. A trek of 100km over 24hra starting on the 25th of June. Not the first time I do a long walk it the first time I will do 100km. I will finish this challenge no matter what.
This year is special for Sakina and I since we are expecting a little one in a few months time. Sakina wanted to accompany me on this endeavour but I am afraid that, for the obvious reasons, I will go solo (unless one of you wants to join). Sakina can maybe wait for me with a bucket full of ice at home. We spent many of our evenings listening to the little heart beats of our baby.
It is for the two reasons above that this year I would like to raise money for a charity that funds research in heart diseases in children.
Any donations will be much appreciated!!!
Many many thanks for your support
