Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those that don’t know this week is Baby Loss awareness week - a week which aims to highlight the isolation many people experience after pregnancy and baby loss – women, men, other family members and friends.

The effect of social distancing from Covid-19 has had a major impact on access to care and support and has complicated grief and responses to pregnancy and baby loss. Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, feelings of isolation have become more widespread around the world and many people have begun to talk more openly about loneliness.

Many of you know the tragedy Paul Hinz and his family have recently experienced when they lost their beautiful baby Luca at just 8 weeks old. The support he has received from local charities has been helping him and Philippa move through this extremely difficult time.

To show my support for Paul, Philippa and Luca, I will be doing a 24 hour sponsored silence (date TBD) and all funds raised will go to A Child of Mine.
