Story
John, Jodi, Paula and Stu are taking on the challenging of running London Marathon on behalf of I.M.P.S and we would appreciate your help in raising as much money for this charity as we can.
I.M.P.S (The Injury Minimization Programme for Schools) is only partially funded and relies on donations and fundraising to provide an invaluable service. Unintentional injury is a leading cause of death and illness in young people. On average 2 million children attend A&E departments each year because of accidental injury and every week 5 children die. Many of these injuries are preventable. The programme is designed to provide children with a greater awareness of the hazards around them to help prevent accidents and injuries. It also teaches children the fundamentals of first aid, from treating burns and cuts, to CPR, the recovery position and how to use an AED. Targeted at 10 and 11 years I.M.P.S is helping prevent these tragic yet avoidable injuries.
Ultimately, I.M.P.S. empowers young people to take personal responsibility for their own risk management and equips them with the skills to cope in an emergency situation.
I would be extremely grateful if you could help me raise money for this fantastic programme.
