Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Faith is 14 years old and was born with the condition of Angelman Syndrome, she has global developmental delay, non-verbal, non-mobile and has epilepsy.

From birth Faith has always been full of smiles and giggles.

Unfortunately she has always struggled with core strength and only began to sit up at one years old.

Faith has never been able to crawl or walk, he main mode of getting her self around is bottom shuffling.

This she is only able to do in safe environments and on soft indoor floors.

Faith loves to be outdoors with her family and friends, sadly due to her being non-mobile and only being able to walk a very short distance with aids, this means Faith is mostly confined to her wheelchair and this limits the distance she can be taken as someone needs to be able push her.

Faith loves to look at the world around her and finds it hysterical when she is able to go faster than walking pace.

To give Faith more opportunity to be able to go further than she can, to local parks, play areas, cinema, swimming or to see friends and family which are all in cycling distance.

This means she needs a specialised bike which Mum, Dad or Carer can cycle that is part wheelchair and part bicycle that can separate so Faith can go to and discover new places and also enjoy the places she loves.
