John's story:

John is a trustee of a small charity which supports a poor, rural community in Western Kenya. Each time he has travelled to Africa to offer advice on building projects and encourage the development of small sustainable businesses, he has experienced a strong sense that he should be offering support to homeless and vulnerbale people in his home town of Stockport and not just in Africa. He has recently said:-    

"We're very impressed by the tireless work carried out 365 days a year by "The Wellspring" and are very keen to raise funds for such a worthy local charity. As a property consultancy we are especailly interested in the charity's Housing Issues/Advice Scheme."
