Fairford Fire Station Cycle to Kyiv, 5 May 2022
During the chaos of conflict, you will always find firefighters who stay within the war zone, not to engage in battle, but to protect lives and property. Fire-fighters in Ukraine are on the front line of this crisis. They need your help

Story

The crisis in Ukraine currently is one of nightmares, and it's often really difficult to think how we can help those who are suffering.

Like many brigades and stations across the world, we Firefighters at Fairford have decided we'd like to contribute by raising money to support the Ukrainian Firefighters by doing a sponsored cycle the distance from our station in Fairford to Kyiv Obolon District Fire Station, in central Kyiv - a mere 1,584 miles.

We plan to cycle this distance over 4 days - 5th-8th May 2022 at Fairford Fire Station in Gloucestershire. We're incredibly fortunate to have Performance Cycles sponsoring us on this huge challenge, and are incredibly grateful for them supplying us with all of the equipment we need to be able to make the journey.

All donations and contributions, however big or small are appreciated and critical to our success!
