THE FABIAN (FAB) PETER RHYS RICHARDSON TRIBUTE FUND

I set up a Tribute Fund for Diabetes UK after my son, Fabian, sadly died in September 2005, due to complications brought on by sudden onset of Type1 Diabetes. 

As well as being a cheeky and mischievous,  Fabian was a thoughtful, kind and caring young man who always supported charities,  so it made complete sense to give something back in his memory. Having this focus helps to ease the void his untimely death has left.

Since setting up the fund, many fundraising events have been held and continue to take place even now in Fabian's memory. For this I am very grateful as it means the world to know he meant so much to so many. 

Every penny raised helps Diabetes UK support those living with this disease, whilst research continues to get closer to finding a cure. That has to be a good thing x x x
