Story
So last year I had the crazy idea to run two trail marathons in two days to raise money for Mind (stupidly my training consisted of running 3 10k’s so subsequently I got injured and spent 40+ miles in agony.)
Well it turns out I’ve gone batshit crazy again and decided to subtract 24 hours and add on an extra 10 miles (you know just for good luck...)
Yep, this idiot will be running 100km non stop next year! Yep 100km, which should be interesting seeing as 2km is a miracle for me at the moment.
I’ll be regretting entering this challenge all so I can raise some money once again for Mind. My personal battle with mental health means I know how much of a difference this charity can make to people.
The outbreak of Covid has meant that the number of people contacting the service has escalated and as such any money that can be generated to help the service keep running effectively and just help people who are at their lowest points would be amazing.
I managed to raise a whopping £2000 last time and although I’m doubtful I’ll hit that target again it would be pretty spectacular.
So if you’re feeling generous or just have a couple of pennies to spare any donations would be wonderful and could make a huge difference to someone’s life.
