Great SUNC Sweat Off · 23 October 2017

We support deaf children and their families to make their future brighter.

Story

From Monday 23rd 2017 - Saturday 28th 2017, Swansea University Netball Club are completing 5 challenges and trying to raise as much money as possible for The National Deaf Children’s Society.

The challenges are:

Walk : 100 miles

Swim 🏊🏼‍♀️: 12 miles (the distance from Mumbles to Oxwich Bay)

Row 🚣🏼‍♀️: 41 miles (the length of the River Taff)

Cycle 🚴🏼‍♀️: 43 miles (the distance from Swansea to Cardiff)

Climb: 2909 steps (the height of the Burj Khalifa)

This is a charity that supports deaf children and young people to help them get the most out of life. There are over 45,000 deaf children in the UK, and without the right support they are vulnerable to isolation, abuse, bullying, poor self-esteem and low levels of achievement.
