Lake District Ultra Challenge 2022 · 11 June 2022 to 12 June 2022 ·

We offer emotional support to anyone who's struggling to cope

Story

Hi everyone,

On 11 June I'll be hiking 50km in the Lake District to raise money for the amazing Central London Samaritans - who do incredible work to support people in distress.

I'll be doing this with the fab Blister Sisters team - Emily, Hazel, Clare, Celine and Tamsin. Every penny you can donate will help motivate us to keep going up and down the (many, many) hills and valleys.

The Central London Samaritans branch is totally run by volunteers without any central funding. Their incredible volunteers respond to over 70,000 calls for help a year via phone, email and web chat, support up to 4,000 face to face callers at their drop in service and help over 2,000 of London's most vulnerable people including those who are homeless, bereaved, prisoners and people in custody - plus many more valuable services.

If you would like to help (and to force me to keep going for the full 50km) please donate anything you can.
