British 10K London Run 2014 · 13 July 2014 ·

Our charity offers information, advice and support to women who suffer from post-natal depression and their families. We have volunteers who have had the illness and recovered who offer support by phone, e-mail or post. Our aim is to offer hope to sufferers and support them while they are ill.

Story

I would love if you could rattle some coins in your pocket and donate some of your hard earned cash to a very worthy cause.plleeaaase.

As many know, after I had my son four years ago,I experienced postpartum psychosis,a form of postnatal depression and it was truly the most devastating time of my life .

The association of postnatal illness supported my family before I was diagnosed and while I was in hospital receiving teatment. They set me up with a peer supporter who I could confide in and their phone line became a much needed and precious lifeline while I recovered.I always said I would raise money for them to continue their amazing work and the time has come. If you would like to read the story of my illness and recovery, here is the link http://www.app-network.org/what-is-pp/personal-experiences/

Thanks so much,

Eve xx
