I have decided to chop my hair to fundraise for the Maggie's Centre. 

Cancer has flipped mine and my family's lives upside down recently. The Maggie's Centre has helped my family personally and that's why I would like to give back. 

Maggie's offer free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their families and friends. Help is offered freely to anyone with any type of cancer. Simply drop-in at any time - you're always welcome. 

It costs Maggie's £2400 to keep the centre open for just a day. That's why it's so important to me that I am able to give back as I cannot imagine how much harder this experience would be without the support they have provided so far. 

My hair will also be donated to the Little Princess Trust who provide free real hair wigs to children and young people, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions. I understand how losing hair can be a traumatic experience so by donating my hair I hope it can have a positive effect on another young person.
