Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My name is Esti, I am 14, and recently I watched The Great British Sewing Bee and I loved it!! I started taking apart my clothes and bags to sew but luckily my family and our friends came to the rescue and donated lots of fabrics and clothes. Then a few weeks ago somebody very kindly gave me a sewing machine....there’s no stopping me now! I spend every afternoon at my sewing machine, and I decided to make some face masks to raise money for Autism West Midlands. I am autistic and me and my family have a lot of support from AWM, which we are very grateful for.
*PLEASE NOTE THESE MASKS ARE MADE BY ESTI, SHES NOT AN EXPERIENCED SEAMSTRESS AND THE STITCHING - ALTHOUGH ROBUST, WONT BE HIGH QUALITY. BUT THEY ARE UNIQUE THATS FOR SURE! Each face mask has been made entirely by Esti herself, following a pattern (which is amazing really as generally she finds following instructions incredibly challenging; anything fiddly nigh on impossible; and scissor-work very difficult). They are not medical grade and not designed for medical use. They are washable at 30degrees, and the elastics are adjustable simply by tying them.*
