Story

My Mum was a SRN state registered nurse a midwife a school nurse  and a health visitor. She has given care and love to so many and in her mid 70s started to repeat herself and kept asking me if I was ok and did I want a cup of tea, just little things but it then dawned on us that she also didn’t understand how to login onto her bank account  now  forward on five years and Mum has been living with Alzheimer’s it’s heartbreaking to watch her forget who I am and how she can’t walk and has falls a lot.

I want to do something positive and raise money to support this charity who have also supported us through a very difficult time .

We need more effective treatments  and ultimately a cure.

Thank you for reading this and if you can support me that would be great

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
