We are raising money to aid the victims of the Phillipines Typhoon and donating any funds raised to the  DEC's (Disasters Emergency Comitee) Phillipines Typhoon Appeal.

On the 8th of November, one of the most powerful storms ever recorded on land, Typhoon Haiyan, hit the Phillipines. Over 10,000 people have been estimated to have died with the number looking to increase, as well as millions of others losing their families and homes.

As the money is needed so urgently due to hospitals being destroyed, people being left without urgent treatment and additionally going without basics such as food and water, there isn't time to pre plan a large scale event. So, we are holding a dress down day this Friday (15th November 2013) and asking staff and friends to donate to this highly critical cause if means allows.

If you wish to donate but would rather give cash than donating online, please give it either to myself, Ruth Court or Amey and Jenny on front desk and we will ensure it gets donated directly to the DEC.
