Story
Hi Everyone,
Approximately 9 years ago my Nan was diagnosed with pneumonia. After facing treatment, it was later discovered that she was misdiagnosed. Her real illness was lung cancer. After a few months of intensive chemotherapy we were issued with the terrible news that the cancer had spread and her illness had became terminal.
Late June/early July 2006 she was transferred to Myton Hospice where she spent the final six weeks of her life. She had a natural, peaceful passing on 11th August 2006. The team at the Warwick hospice provided high quality care for my Nan and ensured that my family were supported throughout her last six weeks and after her death.
Me and my dad are therefore doing a sponsored cycle (50 miles/80.5 kilometers) on Sunday 3rd August in aid of The Myton Hospices. We feel that they deserve something back for their fantastic care and support regarding my Nan's death.
Myton have to raise £8 million a year in order to keep providing their care. They cannot do this without people like us. All donations would be truly appreciated.
Thank you all for your time and pennies if you wish to donate,
Eryn and Kev.
