Rheumatoid arthritis is an auto-immune disease with no known causes and no cure. It isn't like other forms of arthritis - its doesn't just affect the joints, but also the heart, lungs and eyes

I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis almost three years ago and am lucky enough that it hasn't made a major impact on the rest of my life. I've decided to take this opportunity to raise money that will help others who haven't been as lucky as myself and the money raised will go to a great cause. 

I will admit that running is definitely not the best thing for arthritis,  but I want to challenge myself and Hannah, who will hopefully not have given up after 2km and gone to the pub.
