I am running for Macmillan as I believe it is a charity that really makes a difference.

Many of us have been affected by cancer whether it be directly or indirectly and have lost loved ones due to cancer.

 Macmillan aims to improve the lives of everyone living with cancer. They aim to be there from the moment of diagnosis onwards, and provide practical, emotional, medical and financial support.

It is thought that one in three of us will get cancer at some stage in our lives.

I have left it late to start my fundraising, having secured a place in the half marathon some time ago, but having run for Macmillan before and having learnt more about the work that Macmillan does, I felt that Macmillan was worth running for again.

I would be grateful for any sponsorship. Every amount will help!
