When I had radiotherapy I had to lie on the cold hard table whilst being lined up to make sure the rays hit the tumour and did not damage normal tissue around it.

Now through state-of-the-art technology involving infrared rays (their Spotlight) and sensitive detectors, the system knows exactly where to showing the rays so they do not need to move you about to prepare you for treatment.

This makes the whole procedure much more comfortable and quicker so more patients can be treated in the same time.
