Story
Emmett's Genies have teamed up with local Usborne book seller BerryBooks to ensure that all our children's "hospital boredom busting fun packs" have a fun, age relevant book included. These fun packs are given out for free to children aged 3-18 diagnosed with a critical illness, long-term illness or terminal diagnosis.
But we need help from individuals and local businesses to sponsor these books. Usborne books have a Community book pledge. If we receive £120 in donations to the book pledge, then we choose books up to that amount plus Usborne provides another 10% in free books. This increases to 30% on £250 and 60% on £600 which is incredible.
All sponsors have the option of having the business name inside the book as a book plate and a certificate to put in their business office/space.
If you or your business would be interested in supporting both a local Usborne seller and a small local charity PLUS have the added bonus that they're putting a smile on the face of a critically ill child then please get in contact donate to this page.

Emmett's Genies have a long-term goal to have a fairytale "wish village" that provides critically ill children and their families with a once-in-a-lifetime experience; a purpose built village where imagination comes to life in accommodation that is far away from the hospital settings these children have become so used to. In the interim we are creating an app that children can access during treatment, to use their imaginations to help design the eventual village. A wish village created by critically ill children for critically ill children
