Story
Paul was diagnosed with a terminal GBM G4 brain tumour in Aug 2013, he was given 12-18 months to live. Our daughter Isabelle was only 18 months old at the time and we want her daddy in her life for as long as possible
So far Paul's treatment has been successful in the slowing down of a very aggressive cancer. He's coped so well with everything that been thrown at him and I'm very proud of him and the challenges he's faced, I feel this walk is my challenge and my chance to do my bit to show Paul and Isabelle my strength and determination under sad & stressful circumstances.
Brain Tumours are one of the cancers that are researched the least as they are uncommon and in Paul's case inoperable. So all the money raised will go towards finding a cure
Help to beat brain tumours.
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. This September, I’m raising money at Shine Night Walk to help Cancer Research UK beat brain tumours sooner.
Each year in the UK, over 9,400 people, including around 400 children, are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. But they can be hard to treat and around 5,000 people in the UK lose their lives to the disease every year. This is why Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work must continue.
Please dig deep and sponsor me. Every pound you donate will help fund their life-saving work.
Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.
Sleep can wait. Beating cancer can’t.
