Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After years of entering the ballot, I have finally been accepted (it has been a case of 3rd time lucky!)

On Sunday 25th April I will be taking part in the Virgin 2010 London Marathon to help raise money for Hospice of St Francis. Back in 2004 my mum passed away from Breast Cancer and was thoroughly looked after by St Francis.

I look forward to running the 26.2 miles in memory of my mum and for a great cause, close to my heart.

I will also be participating in 'Walk with the Stars' 12 mile midnight walk, for the 3rd year running, on Saturday 19th June.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

£12 will buy medical Oxygen
£15 will buy food for our regular volunteer gardens!
£25 will pay for a massage session for a patient
£50 will buy books for children
£80 will pay for a home care visit
£105 will pay for a day’s nursing costs

So please dig deep and spread the word

Your act of kindness will help put a smile on someone's face
