Story
Emma being Emma, she was so positive that she never discussed plans for when she was no longer with us. It was more about concentrating on beating this horrible disease and living every day to the full. A mantra that I believe everyone should live by.
In the last few days she did say that she didn't expect anything, but if people were adament on gifts/flowers she would rather people donated to Team Verrico. Team Verrico helped Emma in so many ways. They provided counselling, reflexology as well as additional medical advice and scans to put her mind at ease that everything possible was being done to help her. These things really helped and made a positive difference to Emma and she wanted other people to benefit from this super charity for years to come.
With the Covid lockdown, many charity events have had to be postponed or cancelled so it has had a detrimental impact on Team Verrico's funding streams. So any donation you can make, big or small, will be will be really appreciated and put a smile on Emma's face knowing other people will benefit from this great charity.
I would like to thank everyone for all the love and support they have provided to Emma and our family over the past few years and especially in the last few days. The volume of messages is a testimony to how loved Emma was and is no surprise given how many lives she touched. Emma was so special that everyone she met would be left with an impression of what a beautiful, kind, giving person she was. No one ever had a bad word to say about her. What a role model she is for Sophia, she truly was one in a million. 💕
Thanks again,
James
