Story
On the 5th October a group of friends and I will start climbing / walking / crawling up all 6,000 metres of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
I have decided to use this amazing opportunity to raise money for the Walworth Garden Farm, a local charity. As well as being an oasis of greenery in the middle of Southwark, the charity provides skills and confidence to the long-term unemployed, horticultural therapy to people with learning disabilities and environmental education to school children, some of whom have never seen where their veg comes from.
The thought of helping a charity that really makes a difference to people's lives, and Southwark a nicer place to live, will inspire me to make it to the summit. Only half of those who attempt it, reach it!
Please give whatever you can. I will be eternally grateful*.
Donating through JustGiving is totally secure. Your details are safe – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation.
*Well, I will be really really pleased. As will Walworth Garden Farm.
