Story
I had to do a course with Harbour in 2016 due to DA and it's still ongoing to the extent where they were still in contact with me last month due to on going DA despite a non contact agreement he is still trying to destroy my life. They really helped with confidence, anxiety and the strength to finally be alone.
So on Saturday 9th July, a group of us are hiking up Scafell pike. 3 of the group will be carrying kitchen sinks chained to our backs and carrying banners with words said to us or family and friends in relationships. The expression 'women should be chained to the kitchen sink', although it should be archaic, still resonates with many women today. So this hike is to raise awareness of DA and to inspire women to empower eachother and seek the support from Harbour and other DA support systems. There is so much support out there and no woman should experience any form of abuse from anyone.
This is from them...
